Selective demolition of existing classroom and offices for conversion into sophisticated and innovative classrooms located on the third and fourth levels of the Duke Law School. Most construction was performed during normal Law School hours thus requiring extensive efforts to minimize disruptions. However, specific disruptive activities were scheduled during nights and weekends including overnight activities to avoid issues. Facilities include state of the art IT and audio visual equipment requiring considerable coordination. Special consideration was given to sound transmission due to separation of adjoining spaces by utilizing sound attenuating insulated glass and fabric wrapped acoustical wall panels.
